Freely download the Forestry Commission’s “Gruffalo picnic party pack” and visit your local woods for an afternoon of fun outside. In the pack you will find a bunch of great materials to create the perfect picnic party! Invite your family and friends to celebrate the Gruffalo, browse picnic ideas and play Gruffalo party games. Complete with decorations, a Gruffalo mask, and a medallion – you will completely kit out for a great Gruffalo day!  This is a fantastic, free opportunity to celebrate a birthday or the Gruffalo! It’s also something which can be done anywhere at any time – that’s what we like to hear. Does your young explorer fancy themselves as a bit of actor? Why not put on your very own Gruffalo play? Now in its second year, The Gruffalo Adventure is a magical event for children and families, raising vital funds and awareness for Hft; a charity supporting people with learning disabilities in the UK.  Put on your mouse ears, brush off your tail and take a stroll through the deep dark wood. Keep your eyes peeled for some well-known characters along the way...!

The walk – suitable for wheelchairs, buggies and little legs alike – lasts approximately one and a half hours.
