The Gnoll Estate Country Park...

It’s now just over a month until the next series of FREE Muddy Events return for the October half term and the spookiest time of year, Halloween! Taking place on the 30th October, our event will enable you and your children to enjoy the last bits of the break and celebrate this scary season.  As you may know, our events are taking place all over the country. Including Manchester and London, we’re also running an event in South Wales at the terrific Gnoll Country Park! We’d thought you may like to hear a bit about this great green space before the big day…  The Gnoll Country Estate is situated to the eastern side of Neath in South West Wales. Proudly rising above the town’s centre, the grounds of the park lie in their original rural setting. This was long famed for its picturesque beauty and impressive landscape. The grounds of the estate once served Gnoll House but now owned and managed by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.  The park is also host a great variety of plants, flowers and trees including their own arboretum collection. With ancient hollow oak trees, impressive giant red wood spectacles - you will be truly immersed in some wonderful wildlife. Their fallen branches and the specimens which hide in them will be perfect for our craft and science activities. More coming on them soon! Situated with 200 acres of woodland, Gnoll Country Park has lots of awesome open spaces with an abundance of walking trails to explore. Wander through the walkways in search of our haunting Halloween themed shapes!  Whether you’re an eager eyed scavenger or a more active adventurous explorer, Gnoll Park has a number of routes, perfect in providing you with a morning of real excitement as you explore the Welsh woodland.
