Why We Love The Big Feastival SO Much!
Back again for another year and part of our summer calender is The Big Feastival! This family originated festival takes place in The Cotswolds, 26th - 28th August and gives you the chance to sample some of the tastiest treats from extra special award winning food carts. Spanning from super sandwiches specialists such as “The Cauldron”, coming from from Devon to classic festival food, serving up the best burgers from Birmingham – it’s safe to say you will be full to the brim! Read on to find out why we love The Big Feastival so much.... Watch celebrity chefs in action as they cook up some of their festival food favourites, with the well treasured British chef Jamie Oliver on the line-up and a festival organiser, you will be hungry to get back in the kitchen once the bank holiday weekend ends to try out some of the tasty tips. There’s even a pub quiz to round off your weekend! After you’ve eaten, catch some of the best DJS, artists and musicians curated by Blur bassist Alex James. Headliners include a Mark Ronson DJ Set, Tinie Tempa and The Kaiser Chiefs. Muddy Puddles are on the line up too! Ready on hand to provide the younger festival goers with wellies and waterproofs to protect you from all weather conditions! More Muddy fun could be coming your way… Now in its 5th year, The Big Feastival hosts a number of exciting activities for you and your family to join whilst exploring the festival site. Rio 2016 may be just round the corner but Feastival has got some of their own medal giving going on! Challenge your kids at the onsite family Olympics – another summer sports day where you don’t just have to watch! You also have the chance to go head to head with your partner with Bugaboo's Buggy Races or join Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park team and meet some of their farm animal favourites! As well as a range of farm animals, visitors big and small can feed and cuddle rabbits, chicks, lambs and piglets in the Touch Barn. We love the outdoors at Muddy Puddles…not sure we have mentioned, but also love inspiring children to get creative and a little bit messy in the process! Join the Design Museum and attend a session at "The Workshop" for some excellent craft activities - it will be the perfect place to spend some down time with your family.
