Our Originals London Shoot - Behind the Scenes!

We love our Originals range, they are our founding, heritage Muddy Puddles products (hence the name), therefore we feel it’s important to show our customers just how much they mean to us. Here’s what we got up to on recent Originals shoot! Just the down the road from our London office, we visited the rather attractive Culpeper Community Gardens in Islington. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets, Culpeper Community Garden is one of London’s best kept secrets in, a truly appreciated green space, maintained by the London locals who are more than happy to get a few grubby green fingers! The garden is an amazing place for children to explore and enjoy this summer. The garden is also home to a number habitats and wildlife, with a large variety of plants which hosts a number of bees and butterflies, the children loved diving in and out of the ivy-clad trees. Described as a “mini beast mansion”, our explorers were also the lookout for dragonflies and birds flying through the treetops. We later moved on and arrived at Regents Canal, providing a rather idyllic setting for the second half of the shoot. Our Originals are great versatile bits of kits, wherever your adventurers may be; they will remain warm and dry. On a freezing cold May day, we were sat there thinking, why don’t we don’t make adults sizes?! Still, the children were extremely entertained; they loved playing with the crabbing lines, throwing them in and out of the water. In between the fun we got some amazing shots of the kids in action – we can’t wait for you to see them! P.S We’ve also just returned from our Autumn Winter 2016 shoot, where we were capturing some new products out in the Somerset wildlife… we can’t wait to share them with you, but sorry, you’ll have to be patient.
