Lots of forest superheroes have been spotted on the Superworm activity trails since they launched in January, having a great time and discovering amazing facts about the unsung heroes of the forest. It’s the perfect excuse to explore the forest and it’s so much fun, some of them have been more than once!

The Superworm activity trail and accompanying pack are crammed with activities to keep your young forest superheroes entertained. There’s a whole host of characters to find and incredible facts to uncover about the creatures and minibeasts that call our forests home. For an extra giggle, follow the tips on some of the panels and try moving like some of these amazing creatures for yourself. As you continue your adventure, see if you can spot the bees and wizard lizard’s hat hiding in the trees and don’t forget to collect all the crayon rubbings along the way too! Special Superworm trail packs are available to buy on sites and include a superhero mask, stickers to personalise it, creature fact cards, and an at-home activity sheet that gives children a chance to create their very own forest superhero. With activity trails at 26 forests across England and so many other things to do while you're there, there's plenty to keep the young ones busy. So, fancy joining the super squad? Get a wriggle on and start planning your visit today! If you need more to tempt you along, it's also Superworm's 10th birthday! Forestry England would like children to help him celebrate and are working on a special surprise, so keep your eyes peeled while you're out and about in the forest over the summer holidays for more information coming soon.
