Made for little feet that rarely stay still. The Vivobarefoot Primus Trail Knit FG is a lightweight, flexible barefoot trainer designed for running, climbing and exploring across everything from playgrounds and parks to woodland trails.

Giving growing feet plenty of freedom to move naturally, the Primus Trail Knit combines a thin, flexible sole with a grippy multi-terrain tread. Little feet can bend, flex and feel the ground beneath them, while the durable rubber outsole provides the traction they need for scrambling over rocks, climbing trees and taking on uneven ground.

The soft knitted upper fits almost like a sock, comfortably hugging the foot while remaining breathable during energetic play. A snug collar helps keep out stones, twigs and other outdoor debris, without making the shoe feel heavy or restrictive.

Designed with independence in mind, the simple toggle fastening is quick for little hands to adjust, while heel loops make pulling them on that bit easier. Added toe protection helps them stand up to the inevitable knocks and scrapes of everyday exploring.

Footwear

All our wellies and snow boots are true to size but if you want to wear with thick socks try a size up for comfy fit. We also suggest a size up in our Puddlestomper wellies as they can be a little narrow.

Measuring Tips

Height:

Measure your child standing straight and without shoes. Measure from the top of their head to the bottom of their foot.

Chest:

Place tape as close under the arms as possible and measure around the fullest part.

Waist:

Measure your child around their natural waistline. Tape should be comfortably loose.

Leg:

Measure from crotch to the bottom of their foot, with their legs shoulder width apart.

Foot length:

Place your child's foot on a flat surface with their heel against a wall. With a ruler next to their foot, measure from the heel to the longest toe.
