What you need:
- Leaves
- Scissors
- Jam jars or clear plastic bottles
- Elastic bands
Instructions:
- Forage and collect coloured leaves.
- Cut out scary Halloween faces to decorate your jars with.
- Use elastic bands to attach the faces around jam jars or clear plastic pots to make lanterns.
- You can also make a witch or wizard’s hat to decorate by rolling up a large sheet of coloured paper and staple or glue the edges together.
Paper Bag Lanterns
What you need:
- Paper bags (with handles if possible)
- Scissors
- Leaves
- Seeds
- A torch or glow stick
Instructions:
- For best effect, use paper bags with handles.
- Cut scary faces in each side of a paper bag.
- Decorate with leaves and seeds.
- Place a torch or a glow-stick in each bag to create a spooky effect.
