Our Cosy Outfits for Bonfire Night and Top Safety Tips

Bonfire night is upon us and with many firework displays set for tonight & the weekend we've put together a essential outfit guide to keep your little ones warm & cosy at the displays & the Muddy safety tips to keep safe at the displays!

No 1: Our Puddleflex Jacket

Designed for the most wet and blustery British weather, the Puddleflex Jacket is the top choice for the weather we are experiencing here in London this evening & what is forecast for the weekend of fireworks. It's the perfect unisex & stylish coat to stay warm, dry & comfy while being mesmerized by the wonderful displays. No 2: Puddleflex Trousers
Designed to be worn over clothing and footwear, these are great for matching with our bonfire night essential Puddleflex jacket. With the weekend weather set for a rainy display, our trousers will be the best addition to wear when watching the festivities from wet fields.

No 3: Our Snug Beanies

The Snug Knitted Beanie Hat super soft & super warm & 100% acrylic. This beanie is the perfect accessory to keep little heads warm while watching the fireworks in the rainy weather.

No 4: Snug Knitted Balaclava

Our super cosy knitted balaclava comes in red & navy, it is one size & is perfect to keep little ears warm while watching the fireworks.

We feel it almost has a Guy Fawkes look to it, do you think?!

No 5: Breezy Fleece Mitten

Our kids mittens have extra thick lining for warm fingers to stay warm at the displays, they feature our cool splash logo, have elasticated cuffs & last but not least, are machine washable.  We want all Muddy explorers to be safe this weekend. Here are our Muddy tips for top firework safety this weekend:
  • Only buy fireworks that comply with British Standard 7114 or its European equivalent. Instructions should be in English.
  • Follow the instructions on each firework and be sure they're suitable for home use.
  • Light fireworks at arm's length using a taper.
  • Stand well back.
  • Never go near a firework that has been lit. If it hasn’t yet gone off, it could still explode.
  • Never throw fireworks or put them in your pocket.
  • Always supervise children around fireworks.
  • Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves.
  • Don't give sparklers to children under five years old.
  • Keep pets indoors.
