Team favourites – favourite places to camp

If you work at Muddy HQ camping is likely to be high on your list of great ways to spend a weekend. What’s better than evenings chatting round the camp fire after a lovely day in the fresh air?

For all you keen campers out there, here are our Team’s favourite camping spots.

Laura, buyer “My favourite place to go is the New Forest. I love its natural beauty and calm. Camping is such a lovely activity to do as a family! My two boys always have lots of fun, there is nothing they like more than toasting marshmallows on a campfire!”

Nmarah, finance “My favourite place to go camping funny enough was in my back garden with my siblings. My parents would put the tent up and we would all make a fire and tell stories.”

Katie, finance “It’s been long since I went camping, but when I was a kid we used to go camping in France. We went to a camp site with loads of pine trees, and it had this lovely smell – it’s one of my favourite childhood memories!”

Trudi, Muddy care team “My favourite camping place would be in North Wales, by a stream, so you can go paddling and have camp fires. I love camping near to Snowdonia, it’s very pretty when it doesn’t rain.”

Amandine, creative “I like camping in France, especially on Île de Ré. I used to go there every summer with my grandma. I enjoyed being in nature and saying hello to the local donkeys every morning.”

Anna Sara, marketing “My favourite camping is the wonderful Cornish Tipis in Cornwall. I like camping with a group of close friends. I love swimming in the lake and sitting by the fire in the evenings. I always come back relaxed and refreshed.”

Barbara Anna, digital marketing “I usually camp in France, my favourite camping spot is located in Languedoc-Roussillon region in Lanuéjols, in the middle of the Parc National des Cévennes and Parc Régional des Grands Causses. I love being close to nature. I turn off my phone and enjoy my morning coffee in peace and quiet. I cannot wait to be back!”
