Our SS24 Collaboration with the RSPB
We are so thrilled to have collaborated with the RSPB for the second year in a row, with our beautiful Avocet print which forms part of our Spring Summer 2024 collection. The Avocet is the emblem of the RSPB and can be spotted across much of the coast of England and South Wales.
The Avocet is a distinctively-patterned black and white, elegant wader bird with a long up-curved beak and long blue-grey legs. Avocets can be seen at RSPB reserves including RSPB Minsmere, RSPB Titchwell Marsh and RSPB Frampton Marsh.
There are 7 pieces in the RSPB Green Avocet print this season - our EcoLight Jacket, EcoLight Puddlesuit, UV Surf Suit, UV Swimsuit, UV Rash Vest, UV Swim Shorts, and UV Sunhat.
All of the outerwear and swimwear items in this collection are made from 100% recycled fabrics and delivered in corn starch packaging and fully compostable polybags.
At Muddy Puddles we're on a mission to connect growing explorers with nature by designing excellent quality, sustainable clothing that protects them in all weather, is kind to the planet, and the people who make them.
“As the largest wildlife conservation charity in the country, sustainability is of the upmost importance to us and Muddy Puddles is therefore such a lovely fit for us in terms of their recycled fabrics and plastic-free packaging,” said Louisa Skevington, product licensing manager at RSPB.
A percentage of the profits from the sales of all the Green Avocet items in the collection will be donated to the RSPB.
For all licensed Products sold by Muddy Puddles Ltd, Muddy Puddles Ltd will donate a minimum of £5,000 to RSPB Sales Ltd, which gives all its distributable profits through Gift Aid to the RSPB.
