Our eco-friendly packaging
We send every customer order out in a recyclable paper bag. Our products are kept clean and protected in biodegradable corn starch poly bags and these can biodegrade in 1-3 months when placed in your normal bin. Our packaging also uses recycled card tags, organic cotton string and Forestry Commission approved postal bags.
Waste reduction and circularity
We donate all our samples and faulty products to charity.
We believe that if cared for correctly, a Muddy Puddles garment could remain usable for 20 years or more. In cases where a garment can no longer be used, we have some recommendations.
Carbon footprint
One of our biggest hurdles has been not being able to find manufacturers that reside closer to home and that can accommodate the technologies required to make our clothing. This is something we continually reassess and investigate with the hope that soon we’ll be able to make more local manufacturing a reality.
In the meantime we book all our orders earlier to avoid air freight and make sure that only a maximum of 10% of goods are shipped by air.
