Another Trip to the Park With our Puddleflex Trousers

Tremendous blogger Tiny Two Hands, stepped outside and visted her local park with our perfect Puddleflex trousers. Read on to find out what she thought!

"If you’re a regular reader of my outdoor posts on Two Tiny Hands you know that we love to take a trip to the park. We have had a brilliant Spring and Summer full of outdoor adventures, I’ve almost forgotten what bad weather looks like. Autumn has very much set in now and is wet and drizzly. We really wanted to instill a sense of outdoors in the Robot and ever since he started walking outside he has become obsessed with going out. So much so he has started bringing me my shoes. Not only has been bringing me my shoes he’s actually bringing me the right pair off the shoe rack. Then going back for his shoes and then standing impatiently at the door waiting for me to get ready. He knows the way to the park now… All the rain has made it difficult to keep clean and dry but a solution arrived the other day from Muddy Puddles. They kindly offered to supply the Robot with some waterproof trousers in return for a proper trial and an honest review of them. We have the Puddleflex Trousers in Blue!  We’ve taken them for a spin to the park twice now and both times they’ve come back muddy but kept the Robot dry and warm. The fact that they are too big is a bonus as he’ll grow into them and get a lot of use out of them over the winter and well into next year.
They are billed as fully waterproof, windproof and offering thermal protection. Go and check out the technical information to find out more but I’m convinced that they will do this job. As the Robot has only just started walking he often goes back to all fours so the trousers definitely had a good work out with trips, falls, and bum scraping…
They really are made for young explorers that want to get out in the rain, wind and mud… A bit more about the trousers:
  • Ultra waterproof 10,000mm
  • Elasticated waist
  • Adjustable elastic stirrups with snap fastening
  • Reflective details for high visibility
  • Fully taped seams
  • Elastic hem
  • Machine washable
As I said before I really like them and there is no doubt in my mind that they will be perfect for the coming season. I’m so impressed with them that I’m going to buy the jacket to go with them. The hardest decision I have to make now is should I choose red, yellow, blue or green!? Have you got a little explorer that just loves to be outside? How do you keep them warm and dry for the wet season?"
