Celebrate a Summer of Sport with the Stick Man Games!
Stick Man is a children’s book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the creators of The Gruffalo. It tells the adventure upon which Stick Man finds himself whilst trying to find his way back home to the family tree. You can join Stick Man on his adventures, by heading to one of five Stick Man Games events, set in Forestry Commission England’s woods and forests this summer! You’ll have a chance to play a whole range of twigtastic games, and even meet Stick Man himself. From stick and beanbag races, to forest hurdles and hula hooping, there’s so much to do at the games that you’ll have jam-packed day of family fun. To find out where your nearest event is, visit the Forestry Commission online. Dotted around twelve more forests across England, you will also find Stick Man Games activity arenas, where you can have lots of fun, playing giant pick-up sticks, hopsticks, hopscotch, hoop-a-stick ring toss, plus many more! With the summer in full swing, the activity arenas make a great day out with the kids; keeping them active and healthy in the great outdoors!
