Muddy Puddles' Favourite Green Spaces in London!

Muddy Puddles' Favourite Green Spaces in London!

Here at Muddy Puddles HQ we love nothing better than a wander in the wildlife, a stroll in a sunny park or relaxing in and around our local areas. It’s the time of year where all of these activities seem so appropriate…even if it were raining, we wouldn’t mind too much!  With this in mind we thought we would share our favourite green spaces to visit in London! Are there any that take your fancy? Or any below that you love too? Let us know below! Victoria Park, London. Natasha – Managing Director My favourite space in London is Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. I grew up near there so have been visiting the parks since I was a little girl. It has the round pond and the serpentine where you can go to feed the ducks, go out on boats and even play pooh sticks or visit the Peter Pan. There is also an amazing Princess Diana Memorial playground with a pirate ship and huge sandpits.  Guy – Marketing Manager My favourite is Brockwell Park – it’s a sprawling, hilly park in South-East London with a woodland section, a meadow, tennis courts, a huge lido, and best of all, the Lambeth County Show every summer featuring great music and activities.  Verity – Lead Creative My favourite green space is one I’ve only just discovered, when looking for locations for our photoshoot. It’s Culpeper Gardens in Islington. You could walk past and not notice it’s there but its’ a gorgeous oasis of nature and so well looked after. It has organic veggie plots and a little pond among little windy paths through the undergrowth. I recommend a visit!  Nmarah – Finance Assistant My best Greenspace in London is Richmond Park; it’s a lovely day out with the kids. There’s great wildlife there with animals like deer’s and rabbits, also horse riding and lots of beautiful flowers and an amazing playground!  Rob – Marketing Assistant My favourite green space in London is Burgess Park. Located in South London, it’s a fantastic place for a walk! It has over 140 acres to explore, making it one of the largest parks in the area. It’s also an ideal location to sit down and relax by the lake, perfect for a BBQ when the sun’s out!  Have our great green spaces got you thinking? What are you waiting for! Slip on some wellies and a waterproof (just in case) and explore some brilliant spaces around our Nation’s capital for a day spent in the wilderness… you can do the London eye another day! Here's what we recommend for a stroll in the park...
