Mud, mud, glorious mud… Muddy walks make happy memories, but they can also help build a better future.
Take part in Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle Walk this spring with your nursery or family and raise money for Save the Children. The money raised will help vulnerable children in the UK and around the world.
Everyone who takes part in a Muddy Puddle Walk will get a free Peppa sticker and a certificate. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to spend a fun day outside with your family and explore the world. In celebration of this year’s Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle Walk (13-19 May), we’ve rounded up the best kit for muddy walks. Make sure your young mudders are warm and dry and ready for splashing in mud.
1) Protective wellies
A pair of sturdy, protective
wellies is a must. No one likes cold, wet feet! The funnier and more colourful they are, the better.
2) Waterproof trousers
Protect those little legs from the chilly weather with a pair of comfortable,
waterproof trousers. If it is wet or muddy outside, waterproof trousers protect children from getting cold legs from the inevitable splashes. Our super waterproof and comfortable
Puddlepac and
Originals trousers are designed to be worn over clothing and footwear and they’re perfect for outdoor play and long, muddy walks.
3) Splash-proof jacket
Get your children properly kitted out in a waterproof jacket to help protect their clothes from muddy patches. We recommend our brilliant
packable jackets that pack into their own pocket ensuring young explorers are always prepared for a sudden downpour.
4) Mud-proof all-in-ones
For smaller explorers, we recommend waterproof
all-in-ones, perfect for running around and jumping in the muddy puddles. Make sure you choose a lightweight and breathable suit to prevent little adventurers from feeling hot and sticky while running around in the great outdoors.
5) Toasty accessories
Add one of our knitted
bobble hats to protect your children’s heads on a windy day. It is important to have warm gloves or mittens tucked in pockets ready to pull on if it’s particularly cold outside.
